AI Call Review and CRM for B2B SaaS Sales Teams

For B2B SaaS teams: AI scores every discovery and demo call against your playbook, turns follow-ups into tasks and shows where demos stall.

Updated October 2, 2026
The New business board in Omniscore: Demo requested, Demo done, Trial and Proposal columns; each deal card shows the account, the contact, trial dates, the next task and the call score

A SaaS deal is decided in a handful of conversations: the first reply to a demo request, the discovery call, the demo, the check-in halfway through the trial, the call where pricing comes up. What matters is said out loud — who signs off, what they use today, what would make them switch — and most of it never reaches the CRM. The head of sales reads “demo done, sent the deck” and has to guess the rest.

Omniscore reviews every one of those conversations against your playbook, turns what was promised into tasks and keeps each deal on a board with a deadline for every stage. If you sell into a narrow market — property managers, clinics, logistics companies — every lead is expensive, and losing one to a missed follow-up hurts twice.

Where SaaS deals get lost

  • A slow reply to a demo request. The form came in at 4 PM and the first call happened the next afternoon. By then the buyer had booked demos with two competitors.
  • A demo without discovery. Forty minutes of features, and nobody asked what they use today, what triggered the search or how many people would work in the product.
  • “Send me the deck.” The deck goes out, and the deal sits in “Demo done” because no next call was booked.
  • One contact, and the wrong one. The champion loved it; the person who signs off never heard why.
  • A trial nobody watches. Day nine of fourteen, two of eight users have logged in, and there has been no check-in.
  • Promises about the roadmap. “That’s coming next quarter” — said to close the deal, discovered by the customer after signing.
  • A discount as the first answer. On “it’s expensive,” the rep drops the price instead of asking what it’s being compared with.
  • A handover without context. After the contract, customer success starts onboarding without knowing what was promised on the sales calls.

How Omniscore handles it

  1. Every call reviewed. A few minutes after the recording is in: a transcript with speakers and timestamps, a score against your checklist with a quote for every point, a summary and the next step. See the AI call analysis page for how it works.
  2. Demos from Zoom or Meet, too. Upload the recording — MP4, M4A, MP3, WAV and other formats, up to 20 files at a time. If the team sells by phone, we connect your phone system through its API, usually within a week. Every option is on the integrations page.
  3. The conversation finds its deal. AI links calls and emails to the account’s deal in the CRM. If an account has more than one open deal — a new team and a renewal, say — and AI isn’t sure, the call goes to the “Review” queue, and the rep picks the deal.
  4. Promises become tasks. “I’ll send the recap today,” “let’s talk Thursday with your CFO,” “I’ll check in on day seven” — AI creates a task with a due date. Overdue ones turn red.
  5. A deadline on every stage. A deal that has sat in “Demo done” for a week is highlighted on the board and comes up when you ask Omni what needs attention. Lost deals close with a reason from a fixed list.
  6. Email next to calls. Connect the sales inbox over IMAP, and replies to proposals and security questions sit in the same timeline as the calls.
  7. The handover in one answer. Before onboarding, ask Omni “What was said on this deal’s calls?” and get a dated summary: what the customer asked for and what the rep promised.

Scorecard for a demo call

Criterion What AI checks
Agenda and time check Set the agenda and confirmed how much time the buyer has
Discovery before the demo What they use today, what triggered the search and what happens if nothing changes
Team and scope How many people would use the product, and in which teams
Decision process Who signs off, what the buying steps are and whether a security or legal review is needed
Demo tied to their problem Showed what solves the problem they described instead of a full feature tour
Pricing objections On “it’s expensive,” asked what they’re comparing it with instead of offering a discount
Next step with a date A booked call, a trial start or a proposal review — on the calendar, not “I’ll follow up”
Critical A feature or delivery date promised that isn’t on the roadmap, or a discount beyond the rep’s authority

Each item can have a rule for when it applies, so a renewal call isn’t graded on discovery questions. If you split SDRs, account executives and customer success, each group can have its own scorecard. Every score comes with a quote from the call, so coaching starts from the rep’s actual words, not an abstract “didn’t qualify.”

A call review in Omniscore: an imported demo call with Rachel Kim of Summit Residential scored 54% against the SaaS demo call scorecard; Decision process and Next step with a date are marked Not done, next to the summary, the next step, the linked deal and a task created from the call
A demo call review: the rep ran a good demo but never asked who signs off and booked no follow-up, so AI created the task. Sample data.

What the head of sales sees

  • Pipeline report — how many demo requests reach discovery, demo, trial and proposal, how long deals sit in each stage, which are past SLA and why deals were lost.
  • Standards compliance by item — who skips discovery, who never asks about the decision process and how often demos end with a booked next step.
  • Team leaderboard — score, critical fails and the trend for every rep. Sort by “Needs attention” to see who to coach first.
  • Overdue tasks — recaps, proposals and check-ins that were promised and forgotten.
  • Questions for Omni — “Which deals are stuck past SLA?”, “Which step of the script is skipped most?”, “What is overdue?” Omni answers from your own calls and deals, links to the screen each figure comes from and proposes actions as cards; a person approves them. You can ask the same from your own Claude or ChatGPT through the Omniscore MCP connector.
Ask Omni and the pipeline report in Omniscore: asked which demos have no next step, Omni lists three deals and suggests a task; next to it, the New business pipeline for 90 days with the biggest drop between Demo done and Trial, and the loss reasons
Ask Omni and the pipeline report: which demos have no next step, and where the pipeline leaks. Sample data.

Already on another CRM?

You don’t have to move. Start with call review alone and keep your pipeline where it is: the REST API and webhooks let you push deals and tasks between the two systems, and a native connector can be built as a custom module. Call scores and summaries aren’t in the API yet — that’s on the roadmap — so today you read them in Omniscore.

See it before you connect anything

We keep an English demo workspace with sample calls, deals and reports. Ask for a walkthrough, and you’ll see a scored call, the deal it attached itself to and the pipeline report before you share a single recording. Request a walkthrough.

Pricing and pilot

The Omni core is $149 a month per workspace for a team of up to 10; each additional 5 people is $59 a month. The CRM with pipelines for new business and renewals is $79 a month, Email is $15 and Tasks $25. A separate team or brand with its own reports is another $19 a month. AI review is billed from a prepaid balance as you go — about 2¢ for a 1–2 minute call; a 30-minute demo costs more, in proportion to its length. Prices exclude sales tax. Build your setup in the calculator on the homepage; the details are on the pricing page.

The pilot runs for 14 days on your real calls and email, with every module: up to 1,000 minutes, no prepayment and no contract. We bring in your recordings and mailboxes, set up your checklist and pipelines, and check the AI’s scores against yours on 20–30 calls. Within 3–5 days you’ll see which demos end without a next step and which deals are stalling. Request a pilot.

Frequently asked questions

Our demos run on Zoom or Google Meet, not a phone line. Can Omniscore review them?
Yes, as long as they’re recorded. Upload the recording — MP4, M4A, MP3, WAV and other formats, up to 20 files at a time — and the review appears a few minutes later. If your team sells over a cloud phone system such as Zoom Phone, Aircall, RingCentral or Dialpad, we set up a connector that pulls recordings automatically, usually within a week.
We already use HubSpot or Pipedrive. Do we have to switch?
No. You can start with AI call review only and keep your current CRM. The REST API and webhooks let you push deals and tasks between the two systems, and a native connector can be built as a custom module. Call scores and summaries through the API are on the roadmap, so today you read them in Omniscore.
Does it work for customer success calls — onboarding, check-ins, renewals?
Yes. Give customer success its own scorecard and a separate renewals pipeline with its own stages and SLAs. Each scorecard item can have a rule for when it applies, so a renewal call isn’t graded on discovery questions.
Our customers are in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Will the transcript cope with the accents?
Accents, product names and company names are the hard part for any speech recognition, especially on a compressed recording. That’s why we measure transcription accuracy on your own calls during the pilot and tell you the number before you sign anything. Product and company names can be added to a recognition dictionary.
